- the church of Plomion constitutes a splendid example of strengthened church. This architectural current that one meets in all the Thiérache illustrates magnificiently in Plomion so much so that its church is often used as illustration with this characteristic style.
The church contains statues carried out by Jean Minne using surgical instruments. Indeed, once reprocessed, this former surgeon had the strange idea to recycle his old tools to initiate himself with the sculpture of wood. The result is completely astonishing.

- With the periphery of Plomion, is the recreational center of the Nigaudière . This nautical base depending on the commune is made up, in addition to lake, tennis courts and sporting infrastructures as well as camp-site.
- As in very many villages and boroughs of France, the local small shop particularly suffered from the any power from super and hypermarkets since the years 1970. On the central place, around the Markets (witness of the dynamism and prosperity last) and of the strengthened church, still exist, in 2007, of the windows of shops whose state attests final decline obviously.
