Pierrerue is a common French, located in the department of the Alp-of-High-Provence and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.
Its inhabitants is called Pierreruriens.
With a little more than 400 inhabitants, this village located at 5 km of Forcalquier is installed on the slope of a beautiful hill and is surrounded by splendid landscapes. One can discover there the parish church altered at the 19th century, the ruins of the castle of the 14th century altered at the 17th century, the house of the old furnace, the tower of the clock (1789) and the hamlet of St-Pierre, of Magnans and Nevières.
