Pierre Ier of Luxembourg-Saint-pol.
Pierre Ier of Luxembourg , born in 1390, died in Rambures in 1433 was count de Brienne de Conversano of 1397 with 1433 and Count of Saint-pol. of 1430 with 1433. It was wire of Jean of Luxembourg (1370 † 1397), lord of Beauvoir, and Marguerite d' Enghien, countess of Brienne and Conversano, and grandson of Guy of Luxembourg, count de Ligny, and of Mahaut de Châtillon, countess of Saint-pol.
Philippe III the Good did it knight of the Golden Fleece in 1430. The duke of Bedford entrusted an army corps to him with which it besieged Saint-Valéry. He died of the plague with Rambures.
He married in 1405 Marguerite of the Beams (1394 † 1469), girl of François of the Beams, duke of Andria, and Sueva Orsini. They had:
