Phycoérythrine

The phycoérythrine is a Phycobiliprotéine.

It is a red pigment which one finds at some Cyanobacteria, majority of the Rhodophyta and some Cryptophyta. It is used as fluorescent marker, at the time of Cytométrie in flow or Microscopie confocale for example.
