The Phoenix is the National scene of Valencian (59/F) and represents the three criteria of the live performance: the Theater, the Music and the Dance.

The Label “national scene”, created in 1991, is the heir to a long work of cultural decentralization suggested by the ministry for the Culture as of the years 1960.

An about sixty structures distributed in all the France belong to this Réseau. Each establishment is helped by the State (ministry for the Culture represented by the regional management of the cultural affairs) and the Collectivité S Locales (City or their regrouping, Département, Région). These structures respect a book of the precise chargesbien which is concretized by a series of missions.

The proposal Artistique of the Phoenix is characterized by a constant worry of quality and the respect of a right balance between the disciplines Théâtre, Musique, and Danse.

The Phoenix is committed taking part in the stakes of the Sustainable development and becomes éco-person in charge:

  • Installation of a responsible communication (use of recycled paper not bleached with the Chlorine and inks without Solvents).

  • Development of actions citizens in direction of all Public .
  • daily Research responsible for a reduction for the Consumption for energy, therefore production of Carbon dioxide.
