Peyrestortes

Peyrestortes is a common French, located in the department of the the Eastern Pyrenees and the area Languedoc-Roussillon. Its inhabitants is called Peyrestortencs.

History

the September 17th 1793 the battle of Peyrestortes put an end to the Spanish invasion French Catalonia. The advertisement of this victory was the subject of a table of the painter Henry Perrault.
