The peninsula of Quiberon is located in the Morbihan (area Brittany)
Geographical location
The peninsula of Quiberon (Gourenez Kiberen into Breton unified and Gouriniz Kiberon vannetais some) is a ground projection attached to the littoral of southern Brittany. At the entry of the peninsula, the isthmus of Penthièvre measures less than 100 meters broad. To the west, vis-a-vis the swells of the Atlantic Ocean, the Wild Côte presents a mineral cliff landscape, while in the east the Baie of Quiberon form a water level sheltered of the dominant winds.
