Peninsula of Blambangan

The peninsula of Blambangan is the Eastern extreme point of the island of Java in Indonesia.

Environment and tourism

In the peninsula is the national park of Went Purwo . Its name means " forest première" , according to a Javanese legend that the Earth appeared for the first time here.

Of a surface of 434 km ², the park consists of Mangrove, of Savane, tropical forest and beaches bordered of corals.

Plengkung , in bay of Grajagan, is known surfers whole world (" G-Land").
