Pelleas

Pelleas or Pellès is one of the names of the fishing King, guards of the Graal to Corbenic. In other versions, it is called Amfortas. It is his/her daughter Ellan who carries the Graal in the procession; it had a son of Lancelot of the Lake, Galaad.
Atteint of an incurable wound, symbol of spiritual imperfection, it lived in a twilight state whereas its country decayed, awaiting the arrival of Galaad, the knight redeemer.
