Peerage of Ireland

The peerage of Ireland was created with the Middle Ages by the kings d' Angleterre as lords of Ireland. It gathers the noble ones taking part in the legislative power while sitting at the House of Lords of the Parliament of Ireland. Nevertheless, after the meeting of Ireland and Great Britain in 1801, the Parliament of Ireland was removed and the pars of Ireland were represented any more at the Parliament of the United Kingdom only by “pars representatives” ( representative peers ) twenty-eight. Titles of the peerage of Ireland were created until 1899. The titles of the peerage of Ireland are: Duke, Marquis, Count, Viscount and baron.
