Paul Okalik

honourable the Me Paul Okalik (Inuktitut: ᐹᓪᐅᑲᓕᖅ, International Phonetic Alphabet: ) is the first Prime Minister territory of the Nunavut, with the Canada.

Okalik was born the May 26th 1964 in Pangnirtung, Territoires of the North-West (maintaining the Nunavut). It took part in the negotiations which led to the creation of Nunavut.

Okalik is with its second mandate, the first having begun in 1999. He is to date the only Prime Minister for the history of the Territory of Nunavut since his creation. The government of Nunavut chooses its Prime Minister according to the model of the Consensus.
