Paul Cambon
Pierre Paul Cambon , born with Paris the January 20th 1843 and died in Paris the May 29th 1924, is a diplomat French. He is the brother of Jules Cambon.
He makes studies of right then becomes secretary of Jules Ferry with the Préfecture of the the Seine. He becomes then Préfet of the Aube (1872), of the Doubs (1874) then Northern (1877 - 1882) before passing in the diplomatic corps like Résident general of France to Tunisia.
He becomes Ambassadeur of France with Madrid, Constantinople in 1890 and with London in 1898. It is there that he plays a big role in the constitution of the Harmony then of the Russo-British agreement of 1907.
At the beginning of the First World War, it pushes the the United Kingdom to enter in war against the Germany. It leaves its station in 1920 and is elected with the Academy of Science morals and political.
