Pauillac
Pauillac is a common French, located in the department of the the Gironde and the area Aquitaine.
Geography
The city is located on left bank of the the Gironde in the Médoc, to 50 km in the north of Bordeaux. It is there that takes place the departure of the Marathon of the Medoc, each second Saturday of September.

Pauillac is a port which depends on the Port authority of Bordeaux it accommodates the parts of the Airbus A380 which arrive with the Bateau Ville of Bordeaux and transvased on the barge Breuil (barge)
