Patrice Senmartin

Patrice SENMARTIN (November 3rd 1972 -) is a Cycliste blind man French born with Tarbes.

Biography

Handicap: Blind man since August 29th, 1979 following an accident of hunting.

Holder of a License in Management: obtained at the university of social sciences of Toulouse in 1999.

Employee as a high level athlete with the SNCF.

    • First year of competition out of tandem with 12 participations and 12 victories of which a championship of France junior with for fellow-member Michel Rauner.

  • 1988 :

    • 10 participations and 10 victories with the championship of France with for fellow-member Laurent Durvèle.
    • World records junior of the hour on track with Sebastien Laguarde (40,519 km in the hour).

  • 1989 :

    • First championship of France Senior in continuation on track with Denis Pellizzari.

    • Champion of France of speed on track and continuation on track with Hugue Devillers.
    • World champion speed with Hugue Devillers.
    • Bronze medal in continuation and on road with Denis Pellizzari.
