Parliament tail
The Parliament tail (English: Rump Parliament , rump meaning “truncated” or “remaining”) is what remained Long Parliament British following the Purge of Pride of December 6th 1648. It sat until April 20th 1653 and is restored by the Protectorate on May 7th 1659 for finally reforming the Long Parliament, on February 21st 1660.
