Park of Saint-Roch (Somme)

The Gare of Saint-Roch (Somme) is a railway station located on the Commune Frenchwoman of Amiens (department of the Somme). It is the second station of Amiens after the station of Amiens-North.

The station

It is a station of junction with important installations. The goods installations installed in the west of the station are very under-employed.

It is served by the trains, and (lines Rouen-Amiens and Amiens - Calais-City).

History

The station was open in 1848, for the line Paris - Calais and constitutes the station origin of the Ligne Amiens - Rouen.

It was the origin of the Ligne Beauvais - Amiens (removed iron), and of the Amiens line - Canaples - Doullens - Frévent (traffic freight only)

The departmental Railroads of the Sum also had there the terminus of their line with metric gauge Track Amiens - Aumale - Envermeu.
