Pannotia
At the beginning of the Cambrien, the emerged grounds (Laurentia, Baltica, Sibéria and large mass of Gondwana) would be the fragments of a super-continent, Pannotia , which would have existed 650 million years ago. The marine animal-life of Édiacaria, old woman of 600 My, would be a proof of the existence of this super-continent. One found fossils of this fauna in areas currently very distant from/to each other (Australia, Namibia, etc), these animals could not traverse long distances, they were to live on the continental terraces of only one continent. Pannotia formed later pangée.
