Own way

Guise is a common French, located in the department of the Aisne and the area Picardy. The inhabitants are the Guisards . The etymology of the name Guise is ford-Oise , from where the local pronunciation own way .

Geography

Own way is between the areas of the Vermandois and the Thiérache, halfway between the towns of Saint-Quentin and Vervins in the north of the Aisne.
