Orléanais

One of the Old French provinces, whose capital was Orleans. It includes/understands the Département of Loiret, the Loir-et-Cher (Blésois), most of the Eure-et-Loir (Beauce) and part of the Yonne. Today like inhabitant of Orléanais the inhabitants of the neighborhoods of Orleans and to a lesser extent of the other parts of Loiret recognize themselves. Orléanais is with the Berry and the Touraine one of the three component of the current area Center.
