On a human scale is a book of Leon Blum, written in captivity during the Second world war. Finished in 1944, it was published in 1945 the shortly after the war. This large last works of Leon Blum was likely to be able to be left in hiding-place prison, without what it never would undoubtedly have been published.

In On a human scale , Leon Blum analyzes his last years with the head of the socialist party and develops a critical reflection on the events which enamelled them. He insists on the importance of the Démocratie and acknowledges some of his political errors.
