Olga Rubtsova

Olga Nikolaïevna Roubtsova (August 20th 1909 - December 13rd 1994) is a Soviet player of failures .

She gains several female championships of the USSR and finishes second of the tournament for the championship of the world of 1950, at a point of Roudenko.

She becomes the fourth world champion by gaining the tournament-match with three which opposes it in 1956 to Roudenko and Bykova; before yielding its crown to Bykova at the time of the match revenge in 1958.

Roubtsova also plays by correspondence and becomes the first world champion in this discipline in 1972. It is only practicing (confused men and women) to have been world champion in front of the chess-board and by correspondence.
