Oka is a municipality in the regional Municipalité of county of Two-Mountains to the Quebec (Canada), located in the administrative area of the Laurentides, with 50 kilometers in the west of Montreal, the confluence of the river of Outaouais and Saint Laurent.
The population of Oka is approximately 5.000 inhabitants.
Today, the village of Oka is a popular center of tourism, thanks to the National park of Oka and with its Abbaye Our-Lady-of-Lake where monks Trappists produced the cheese of Oka. It is also the place of the Crise of Oka.
