  • 1942 . France: With Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne), the railwayman Leon Bronchart refuses to drive a train of prisoners. It will be the only case known in France during the Second world war.

  • 1976 . Canada: the Canadian National and the the Canadian Pacific publish for the first time a common schedule under the mark VIA adopted by the two networks for their passenger services.

XXIe century

  • 2001 . France: the derailment with Saubusse (Moors) of a TGV rolling to 130 km/h makes six slightly injureds. The accident is due to the rupture of a Rail.
