Observatory of Siding Spring
The observatory of Siding Spring , located close to Coonabarabran in News-Wales of the South (Australia), belonged to the RSAA, the School of research in astronomy and astrophysics with the ANU, the Australian National university.
It gathers the anglo-Australian Observatoire as well as a variety of other telescopes belonging to the universities Australian main road, of News-Wales of the South, and others. The observatory is located at 1165 meters above the sea level in the Warrumbungles national park, in Siding Spring Mountain.
A gallery intended to accommodate the visitors is opened with the public, as well as a souvenir shop called Exploratorium.
