Novo Miloševo
Novo Miloševo , in Serb Cyrillic НовоМилошево, is a locality of Serbia located in the autonomous province of Voïvodine. It belongs to the municipality of Novi Bečej in the district of the central Banat. In 2002, it counted: 6763 inhabitants, of which a majority of Serb.
Novo Miloševo, officially classified among the villages of Serbia, was formed in 1946 by the meeting of the old villages of Beodra and Dragutinovo .
The old village of Beodra (in Serb Cyrillic: Беодра) was known under the name of Beodra in Hungarian and under that of German Beudra in . After 1918, the old village of Dragutinovo (in Serb Cyrillic: Драгутиново) was called Karlovo (Карлово) in Serbe, Karlova in Hungarian and German Karlowo in .
Beodra is mentioned for the first time in 1331. The locality was founded on its current site between 1742 and 1753 by Serbes come from Potisje and Pomorišje. It belonged to the Hungarian count of Armenian origin Karátsonyi de Beodra.
Karlovo was founded in 1751.
