Iéléna Gadjievna Issinbaïeva (or Yelena Isinbayeva; Russian: ЕленаГаджиевнаИсинбаева), born the June 3rd 1982 with Volgograd, is a Russian Athlète , practitioner the Saut with the pole.

Sporting career

It became the queen of the female jump to the pole. After a money medal to the Championships of Europe of athletics 2002 and a bronze medal with the Championships of the world of athletics 2003, it becomes the second Olympic champion of the history of the discipline, thus succeeding the prize list with American the Stacy Dragila, at the time of the Olympic Games of summer of 2004 of Athens.
