Not Like Other Girls

Not Like Other Girls is the first album of S.O.A.P.. It left in 1998. The title wants to say Pas like the other girls . Among their greater success one finds " Ladidi Ladida" and " This is how we party". Two tubes which made fury in the whole world and ignited the charts in Europe. Their songs were taken again by other singers.

Group S.O.A.P. consists of two Danish sisters, Line and Heidi. They were born in Malaysia and moved in Denmark in Copenhagen since 1984.

Hardly that they could go, Line and Heidi started to sing. Their parents, two musicians amateurs, sang songs with Line and Heidi to sleep each night in the place of the little stories. Thus they automatically wanted to sing. A little later, as soon as they could, the little girls sang songs which they had learned.

A few year afterwards, travelling in the two directions between Malaysia and Denmark (their father is Danish, their mother is of Malaysia), Heidi and Line sang for local charity works and quickly gained a reputation of a talented duet. In 1995, whereas Heidi had found an odd job in a supermarket, they interviewed a star Danish of rock'n'roll (REMEE) for a magazine. Being a little too young people for rendrent themselves all alone with this interview, their father accompanied them. Before this interview, the father of Line and Heidi and Remee discussed.

During their talk, Remee learned the talent from singer of Line and Heidi. Remee at immediately interested summer. After Heidi sent to him part of the words of a song, Remee called it immediately. He asked Heidi if she would like to be a singer in her new group: Heidi answered not! She said that if Line did not come with me, she refused to go with Remee. And like Line and Heidi always were together, Line with accepted!

One year afterwards, Remee stops its career for devoted to Line and Heidi and thus created on December 15th, 1997 a new group named " S.O.A.P." With their large suprise, their first individual " ThisIs how We Party" made a paperboard everywhere in the world (Platinum disc!). Remee with writing later the song " Stand By You " to pay homage to the two sisters inseparable Line and Heidi. A few months later the album " Not Like Other Girls" left in the whole world… After this album aucunes new of the two sisters. But on September 6th, 2000, they are of return with a new title " SOAP Is In The Air". After the exit of their first album, Not Like Other Girls in 1998, which was formidably sold, the opus according to, Miracle, did not collect same success.
