Norbulingka

Norbulingka refers also to the Institut Norbulingka.

Norbulingka (in Tibetan: ནོར་འུ་གླིང་ཀ་; Wylie: NOR-drunk-gling-ka ) is a palate and a park in the area of Lhassa, with the Tibet which served in normal weather of residence of summer with the Dalai Lama since 1780 until in 1950, date on which the popular Armée with Chinese release takes the control of the country. The park was carried out by the the Seventh Dalai Lama in 1750s, and then became the residence of summer of the Dalai Lama during the reign of the eighth Dalai Lama.

In 2001, UNESCO registered Norbulingka on the Liste of the world heritage of UNESCO like part of the historical whole of the Palate of Potala.

There exists also a zoo with Norbulingka, to keep the animals offered to the Dalaï Lama. Heinrich Harrer helped the 14 {{E}} Dalaï Lama to carry out a cinema in the Fifties.
