Nicostratos is a novel of Eric Boisset.
Summary
Yannis Voutyras lives with his/her father on a Greek small island of the Ionian sea. Marginalized, he does not attend the school and spends his days to re-mesh nets and to cultivate the garden. One day, it collects a failing oisillon that it exchanges with the captain of a boat against the gold cross which came to him from his/her late mother. It is the beginning of a confrontation father-wire at the end which each one will take a step towards the other, joining again the wire of a broken dialog.
