Nicolas Tcherepnine

Nikolaï Nikolaïevitch Tcherepnine (in; ) is a Compositeur Russian, born with Saint-Pétersbourg the May 15th 1873 and died in Iso-the-Moulineaux the June 26th 1945.
With Serge Rachmaninov (1873-1943), Alexandre Glazounov (1865-1936), Anatoli Liadov (1855-1914), Nicolas Medtner (1879-1951), Anton Arenski (1861-1906) and Sergueï Taneïev (1856-1915), sometimes called “large the epigones”, it belongs to the successors of the Groupe of the Five. These type-setters reinforced the positions acquired by their predecessors and tried “to universalize” the Russian music.
