Ngolo Diarra

Ngolo Diarra was a king of the Royaume will bambara of Ségou.

In 1766, Ngolo Diarra, a slave freed from the Coulibaly seizes the throne after years anarchy having followed death Biton Coulibaly. It restored the order in the kingdom by entrusting the command of the various localities to its sons. He dies in Riziam (in current the Burkina Faso) in 1790 (or 1792) while returning from countryside against the Mossi. His/her son Monzon Diarra succeeds to him.
