Newspaper of the Africanists

The Journal of the Africanists is an scientific magazine published with Paris since 1931.

Interdisciplinary, it tackles all the subjects related to the Africa, mainly under the angle of the social sciences.

The review

The review was entitled Journal of the Company of the Africanists until in 1976.

Its periodicity is semi-annual. One finds there articles of specialists (ethnologists, archeologists, prehistorians, linguists, etc), files sets of themes, reports of works and various scientific informations. The Journal of the Africanists constitutes, so a tool of invaluable reference for the researchers and the documentalists.

Policy of electronic edition

The Journal of the Africanists is accessible in full text on Revues.org, with a time of three years restriction. It is propelled there by CMS Libre Lodel.
