Neuf-Brisach
Neuf-Brisach is a common French, located in the department of the Haut-Rhin and the area Alsace. It is created by Vauban to defend the the Rhine in the place of Old man-Brisach (German Breisach), located opposite on other side of the river.
Its inhabitants is called the Néo-Brisaciens and the Néo-Brisaciennes .

- October 18th 1699: Pose first stone of the fortifications of the city.
- October 11th 1731: Pose first stone of the Saint-Louis church.
- In 1792, the general Favart d' Herbigny ordered the defense of Neuf-Brisach.

Economy
The city has a river port which is used as port with Colmar. It is managed by the Chamber of commerce and of industry of Colmar and Center-Alsace.
