Biography

Jean-Louis Aubert is born the April 12th 1955 with Nantua, in the Ain. Wire of a sub-prefect, it is raised by the personnel of house with his two sisters. It has a middle-class, gilded, solitary childhood and melancholic person whom it considers tedious.

In 1959, its family moves with Senlis (in the Oise), then with Paris in 1965. Jean-Louis is a difficult, characterial and undisciplined child.

Later, it follows its schooling to the college Carnot of Paris, with its pal Louis Bertignac. With much from chance, it obtains its vat C in 1973. Little carried on the studies, it is devoted very quickly to its single passion: the Music.

In 1974, at 19 years, it leaves on a journey to the the United States, under sound Military service, accompanied by his/her friend of childhood Olive. They finally carry out for five months a life of artist-adventurer-routards-musicians and furrow to it the roads in Auto-stop with their Guitare S, their repertories of music (Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Easy Rider, Santana, Deep Purple, etc), their unconsciousness and their confidence in them. They survive of the sleeve and the hospitality of their meetings.

Sémolina

Of return to Paris, he sings in the booms and festivals of his district (the XVI {{E}} district of Paris) and in the Université S, the universities, on the Campus. He meets the beater Richard Kolinka which has just written an opera with the Bassiste Daniel Roux. Aubert is impressed and forms with his/her new friends the group Sémolina in 1975. They record a 45 turns at WEA at the summer 1976: “ And I go there déjà'” (face, wrote and sang by Daniel Roux), “ Plastic rocker ” (face B, written and sung by Jean-Louis which gives its voice for the first time). Warner Music Group buries the disc quickly, today Collector, and groups it, which disappoints the interested parties deeply.

Aubert tries the Université musicology of Vincennes but passes the essence of its time to play of the guitar in a cellar with his/her buddies joint tenants.

In November 1976, Richard Kolinka rents a concert hall, but the group with which it is supposed to play is not available. It then brings together some friends whom it appreciates and with which it plays for a long time: Jean-Louis Aubert, the Guitarist Louis Bertignac and the Bass player Corine Marienneau. The concert takes place the November 12th 1976 with the American Center of Paris, in front of 600 people. Their service is primarily made up of Anglo-Saxon recoveries (Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin), but also of the first songs written by Jean-Louis Aubert, whose “ Hygiaphone ” and “ Métro, it is too ”. It is an enormous ovation for the new group which takes the name of Téléphone and which quickly becomes the headlight group of the Rock French of the 1980.

Jean-Louis Aubert composes the major part of the songs of the group, plays of the Guitare and sings. He appears true a stupid scene . The album Spits your venom of 1979, with the title “ the human Bomb ”, becomes the anthem of a generation with 600.000 sold albums. The group becomes worship, true social phenomenon.

In 1985 Jean Louis Aubert becomes father of a fore-mentioned little boy Arthur.

In April 1986, after ten years of adventure, five albums studios at the head of the sales, several rounds and concerts gigantic, the group separates into two, following disagreements, problems of Ego, the media pressure and wear: Aubert' KB with Jean-Louis Aubert and Richard Kolinka on a side, Bertignac and the visitors with Louis Bertignac and Corine Marienneau of the other.

Aubert' KB

With Richard Kolinka, his buddy of always, it leaves a 45 turns “ Juste an illusion ”, under the name of Aubert' KB. Daniel Roux joint with them as well as the Percussioniste Feedback and Marine Rose tree with the keyboard S. In 1987 the group leaves the album “ Plâtre and cement ”, very impregnated of the spirit Téléphone.

Jean Louis Aubert solo

Jean Louis Aubert completes starting from 1989 a more personal work and explores the world of the music. He sails between the Rock, the Funk and the soft melodies in Acoustique. He plays liking of his desires and his meetings with many artists including its two accomplices of always Richard Kolinka and Daniel Roux of course but also Paul Personne, Axel Bauer, Guesch Patti, Princess Erika, Olive of Lili Drop (his/her friend of childhood), the Swedish Gordon Cyrus, Fabrice Moreau (the brother of Patrick Bruel), the beater Nigerian Tony Allen, the player of Oud Iran IEN Mad Shere Khan, Raphaël, and singer Barbara etc It continues the rounds with success and closed counter in the big rooms of spectacles.

It ensures the first part of the Rolling Stones the Stade de France.
