National theater of the Saar

The National theater of the Saar (Saarländisches Staatstheater) gathers the National theater of Saarbrucken and the " Alte Feuerwache" in Saarbrucken. It is a scene for parts traditional, popular, for musical comedies, operas, Ballet S, Contemporary dance like for Concert S.

History

The Theater was built between 1937 and 1938 in the fields of the architect Paul Otto August Baumgarten: structure IIIe Reich, it acts oneself in fact of the gift of Hitler to the the Saar following the referendum of 1935 by which the Saar integrates Reich.
