National center of textual and lexical resources
The National center of textual and lexical resources (CNTRL) is an organization which puts on line linguistic data. This organization was creates on February 22nd, 2006 by the direction of the department “Man and Company” and the Management of the scientific information of CNRS, while resting on UMR of Analyze and data processing of the French language (ATILF) of the Université Nancy-II, which worked out the TLFi. This project is integrated in the European project Clarin.
The base of data evolves/moves with the voluntary laboratory assistant which wishes to perennialize and diffuse linguistic funds and which accepts the charter published by the CNTRL. If necessary, the CNTRL can contribute to working of the information put on line. The contributions are possibly validated by the committee of second reading of the CNTRL and the laboratories then published, if necessary, the objective being the broadest possible dissemination the most reliable possible resources.
