The National-trade unionism , in Spain, was founded by Ramiro Ledesma Ramos, which was the principal theorist. The movement takes to the name of Offensive Juntes National-Trade unionists (JONS) following a fusion with the Juntes Castilians of Hispanic Activism founded by Onésimo Redondo Ortega. Movement which amalgamates in its turn the February 13rd 1934 with the Spanish Phalange (FE) of Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera. This fusion gives the day to its trade-union counterpart of obedience phalangist: the Central Worker Main road-Trade unionist (IDIOTS). Disappointed by the trajectory, which he regards as reactionary, of the Phalange, and for questions of strategy propagandist, he separates from this party at the beginning of 1935 to take again an independent movement. Its assassination in 1936, during the War of Spain, by the Spanish Popular front, involves the recovery of its movement by the pro-Franco mode .

The April 19th 1937, is signed the Decree of Unification by which Franco and Serrano Suner creates a hybrid party called Spanish Phalange Traditionalist and Juntes of Offensive Main road-Trade unionists whose currency is then “for God, Spain and its Revolution Main road-Trade unionist”.

Meanwhile, the National-Trade unionists of the first hour are condemned to silence. Handbook Hedilla, second National Chief of the FEJONS, Ruiz Castillejos, of los Santos, Chamarro, are condemned to death. Felix Gum and Angel Alcazar de Velasco, with the perpetual reclusion. Others, at several years of imprisonment. Their only offense was to be opposed to the Decree Unification which they regarded as a falsification of the original National-Trade unionism . According to this point of view, it would be thus erroneous ideologically to connect the National-Trade unionism with the mode of Franco.

The JONS always exist in Spain but do not obtain a significant result in the ballot boxes.
