NGC 1893 is a open Amas surrounded by a nebulosity in the Constellation of the Cocher.

It is of irregular form, it contains a score of stars of which the magnitude lies between 9 and 12.

It is in an area rich in objects of Messier (M36, M37, M38) and also into object NGC (NGC 1857, NGC 1778), as of the objects of the Index Catalogs (IC 405 (Nébuleuse diffuses), IC 410, IC 2120).
