Nématothalle

A nématothalle (or thallus hétérotriche) is a Thalle without main axis characterized by two types of filaments:

  • of the ramified crawling filaments
  • of the ramified drawn up filaments

Example: Ulva lactuca , Ectocarpus speciosa and Caulerpa taxifolia .
