Multivers

The multivers would be, according to certain interpretations of the Quantum physics, the whole of all the Univers, among which figure our observable universe. that this concept explains in a simple and intuitive way, although daring, phenomena differently badly interpretable.

There exist several theories of the multivers, the principal ones being those:

  • of Hugh Everett, where universe (as well as the observer itself) fork with each linear superposition of quantum state without the fundamental laws being changed it. This interpretation offers a solution to the problem of measurement (magazine by the paradox of the Chat of Schrödinger). A problem involved in this theory is the fact that there does not exist universal “present” of the universe, this one being always relative to a given observer. It is thus very difficult to differently represent this kind of multivers than by centering it on an observer given to a given time.

  • of Andrei Linde, where the universes would be defined in a space of possible and of which each one would have its “universal” laws and/or its constants own. One speaks then about “foam of universe”. See Gabriele Veneziano.

  • resulting from the Theory of the cords. In this theory, it is possible that an infinity of universe with 4 dimensions coexist on different Brane S, in the same way that pages of a book coexist without intersection. The fundamental forces being exerted with the center only one same Brane (except perhaps for the Gravitation), it would be thus impossible to detect the other universes.

If several physicists (as David Deutsch) gets busy to find means of confirming or of cancelling this existence of the multivers, the literature of Science-fiction had very early found there a vast topic to be exploited, often combined with that of the temporal voyage.
