Multilateral agency of guarantee of the investments
the multilateral Agence of guarantee of the investments (MIGA) is an international agency chaired by Yukiko Omura whose mission is to support the overseas investment in the countries in the process of development in order to help with the economic growth and thus to reduce poverty.
The agency is based with Washington DC in the United States of America.
Member States
With the September 27th 2005, there were 167 Member States of the multilateral Agency of guarantee of the investments, including 23 industrialized countries and 144 countries called in the process of development.5 countries are in the course of admission: Guinea-Bissau, the Liberia, the Niger, the the Solomon Islands, New Zealand and the Coast of ivory.
