Mucilage

A mucilage is a substance Végétal E made up of Polysaccharide S, which inflates in contact with water and produces a viscous substance similar to the Gélatine. This substance has consequently thickening, adhesive and lenitive properties. Before the use of the Gelatin and various other substances, the roots of the marsh mallow, a plant of the wetlands, were used to create a paste: the Paste of marsh mallow.
