Mouscron
Mouscron (in Dutch Moeskroen , in Picardy Moucron ) is a French-speaking city with facilitated of Belgium located in Walloon region, chief town of district in the Province of Hainaut. Mouscron also forms part of the Picardy Wallonne.

The inhabitants of Mouscron are Mouscronnois.The symbol of the city is the Hurlu, character who foamed the campaigns of the area at the time of the wars of religion and lived flights and exactions in all kinds. The Festival of Hurlus or festival of the city is celebrated each year at the time of the first weekend of October.
Geography
The town of Mouscron is located at the extreme-west of the province of Hainaut since September 1st 1963, date on which it leaves the Province of Western Flanders. It is with 110 kilometers in the west of Brussels.The territory of the common key at the same time the French border and the linguistic border (which separates it from the Flemish Région). She however always knows a mode of linguistic facilities for the Dutch-speaking ones.
Since 1976, year of the fusion of the communes in Belgium, the commune of Mouscron or “Large Mouscron” gathers the localities of Dottignies, Luingne, Herseaux and Mouscron.
The city made important great strides at the 19th century and especially at the beginning of the 20th century with the development of the Textile industry in the north of the France.
