Plus beautiful the life is a Feuilleton televised French produces by Hubert Besson, Michele Podroznik and François Charlent and created by Magaly Richard-Serrano, Bénedicte Achard, Georges Desmouceaux, and Olivier Szulzynger.

The serial is diffused:

• in France: on France 3 with 20:20 and on Fox Life (channel 28 on CANALSat).
• in Belgium: on Both with 19:00.
• in Europe: on TV5 World Europe with 10:30 GMT. (This signal is different that diffused in France, Belgium and Suisse, soon in Estonia and Finland
• in the world: on certain signals of TV5 World: Africa, Latin America, Asia and Orient

The episodes are diffused since the August 30th 2004 and last 26 minutes each one.

• the first season (245 episodes) was diffused without interruption from August 30th, 2004 to August 5th, 2005.

• the second season (255 episodes) began on August 15th, 2005, to finish on August 4th, 2006 at the time of the 500e episode.
• the third season began on August 9th, 2006 in Belgium and on August 14th, 2006 in France to finish itself on August 17th, 2007 in France
• the fourth season began on August 20th, 2007 officially because the diffusion was not stopped between the 3 and 4th seasons.

Synopsis

This serial puts in scene the daily newspaper of the inhabitants of an imaginary district of Marseilles, the Mistral. It is organized around two principal types of intrigues:

• life of the characters with their daily worries, evolutions of the loves and the friendships;
• Of the criminal intrigues which last several weeks, even several months, and which utilize characters of police officers and murderers, even of the fantastic elements (hypnosis, voice of a dead person…).

At its beginning, the serial counted eighteen main characters.

The description of the characters corresponds to their appearance in the serial. Their distribution around some characters aims at facilitating the reading of the list and the discovery of the serial.

Levy/Lesermann

• Virgile Bayle : Guillaume Lesermann , doctor and father of Nathan. He is the companion of Luna Torres. He left 2 months to Laos, on mission humane, to be less oppressive towards his Nathan son and owing to the fact that Doctor Tautavel would be a better local practitioner than him thanks to better diagnoses. It left on mission to Laos for 1 year.
• Colette Renard: Rachel Levy , reprocessed, saw its communist family off-set during the war. It has been only a few years that she discovered to be the aunt of Guillaume.
• Thibault Vaneck: Nathan Lesermann , High-school pupil. Wire of Guillaume and great nephew of Rachel Levy. His/her mother, Sophie Libourne, somewhat gave up it following an accident of climbing in which his/her best friend died. Feeling responsible for this death, she lived since the drama in a ashram at the fine bottom of Nepal. However, at the end of 2006, it returned to France, in Marseilles… But very quickly, it had the need to set out again, to settle in Bordeaux, not feeling in its place in Marseilles. Nathan left with Nirina which strongly disappointed it, while sleeping for the first and second time with Ferdinand. It went back with it after having misled it with Elise. Following the departure of his/her father then in October 2007 of his Luna mother-in-law, Nathan is only émancipé and lives in the apartment of Guillaume. Ironically, the actor Thibault Vaneck, who is judicious to be 16 years old in the series, in has in fact 22, and is the brother of the actress Aurélie Vaneck, who plays the character of Ninon Chaumette.

Marci

• Michel Cords: Roland , owner of the bar “Mistral”. He is the father of François and Thomas. It is the best friend of Léo Castelli. He lived a history of love with Mirta Torres, but at the time of their marriage, this one says to him not, because she was still married. It met Ann Bocara (spring 2006) and Clemence Bizet (at the end of 2006). It is now unmarried.

• Thierry Ragueneau (the series left on March 6th, 2006): François Marci , naval engineer and wire of Roland. He married with Blanche, with which he had 2 children: Lucas and Johanna. François left to work in January 2006 for one 3 years period in New-Orleans when he discovered that Alice Jouvenin, with whom he had had a connection, sought to kill it. Its divorce with Blanche was marked in October 2006.

• Cécilia Hornus : White , teacher and ex-wife of François. Woman with comes up, it had a extra-marital relation with a colleague of her husband, Pierre. She is the author of an erotic work “extreme Mistral”, which had a strong success with the Mistral. Definitely full with resources, it was presented to the cantonal elections in the district of the Mistral. Recently, it had an adventure with Etienne (brother of Pierre), new arrival with the Mistral. Once this completed relation, it remained only and then met Bertrand, but left it because he had misled it with Charlotte. Now, it spins the perfect love with Franck Vecchio and awaits a child of him.

• Laurent Kerusore: Thomas , second wire of Roland. He lived far from his father, after being adopted by the sister of his mother who was killed. He then came to the Mistral to seek his father. He discovers that it is Roland Marci. Thomas is waiter with the bar " Mistral". Homosexual, it was victim of an aggression homophobe. He lived with Nicolas, lieutenant de Police. Following the assassination of this last, it left to Quebec to change the ideas to return recently to the Mistral with a new style. It leaves from now on with Florian, a judge has just made his coming-out.

• Geoffrey Sauveaux (the series left mid-May 2006): Lucas , the son of White and Francois, studying in a school of cinema. He lived a great history of love with Juliette Frémont. He in addition was the lover of Luna, the mother of Rudy, his best friend. He also recovered from a paralysis of the lower extremities, following an accident which he had with his Johanna sister. Its other great love was Samia, who helped it to overcome the period during which it was in wheel chair. Since, it disappointed it while making a film without authorization, putting in scene a stressed young man: Renaud Sardi. They broke. Subject with visions, it helped the police force to uncover Alice Jouvenin, who terrorized the Mistral and which tried to kill his/her François father. It leaves to join his father in New-Orleans in May 2006.

• Dounia Coesens : Johanna , girl of White and Francois, high-school girl (formerly in sport-study of ice-skating). It is charming and has a strong character. It was pregnant of Rudy, with which it had plans for the future. Whereas it was in the car with her Lucas brother, it surprised on the telephone Rudy and Ninon into full frolicking in love. She then tried to take the control of the car, but this one made several barrels. She lost her baby and wanted thus to be avenged for Ninon and Rudy. She put acid in the beauty products of Ninon, and tried to poison Rudy and Ninon with drugs. She calmed, and accepted their relation. She wants some with her father to have given up her family. After these tumults, it makes use of Nathan in order to allure her Guillaume father. But this one rejected it violently. She thus shows it sexual touchings and carries felt sorry for against him. Thereafter she will know the love with Dorvalino, the son of Gabriel Mercoeur. Being Brazilian, the young man preferred to turn over in his country. She leaves now with called Arnaud Pia (guilty of removal and murder), whom she often will see it in prison. She bound of friendship with Maïdi Roth. Nasri

• Sofiane Belmouden : Malik Nasri , old waiter of the “Mistral”, becomes lawyer and directs a cabinet today. It currently leaves with Melanie, waitress with the coffee “the Mistral”. He lived a history of love with Céline Frémont. He allowed Lily and his Félicity mother to remain in France by taking their defense with the court free. He left for a few months to Brussels thanks to a professional opportunity enabling him to work on the harmonization of the European legal procedures. Income, it spends the good time between the Frémont cabinet and the coffee “the Mistral”.

• Lætitia Milot : Melanie Rinato , a girl enthusiastic and attaching. Waitress with the “Mistral”, it became the boyfriend of Malik, after having lived a horrible history of love with Anthony Laroque. Its wedding night, revealed that the uncle of Anthony, Henri Laroque, had in fact raped the grandmother of Melanie. By learning that, the mother of Melanie had not accepted and Henri pushed it of a window. Anthony, who knew all, made plane his innocence and invited Melanie in honeymoon. Over there, he asked him why she had refused the heritage of Henri. As Melanie had not done what Anthony wanted, it decided that it had to be killed. Malik arrived and saved Melanie. At the end of November 2007, whereas its couple with Malik undergoes a crisis which had with the suicide attempt of Djamila Nasri (the cousin of Malik), Melanie falls under the charm from Alexandre, a writer installed with the Mistral.

• Fabienne Carat: Samia , high-school girl, sister of Malik, it cohabits with Juliette. She left with Lucas but broke because it had made a video of Renaud, an young man stressed and badly in his skin, without the assent of this one. It left later with Fred, a robber and included/understood thanks to Juliette what it was really. It lived a history of love with Fabien Rinato, the half-brother of Melanie. They break in October 2007 because of jealousy of Fabien. Samia currently leaves with Zack, which envenime its relations with Malik, being wary.

Around Mirta and with the Select

• Sylvie Flepp: Mirta , Spanish, fled Manuel, her former husband, who beat it while taking refuge in the town of Marseilles. It is the owner of the hotel “Select” and ex-small-friend of Roland; they were left by amicable agreement because they were not any more over the same wavelength. Then it met Laurent, an old friend of François and Blanche. This one was killed. It leaves in May 2006 with the politician Charles-Henri Picmal without realizing of the monstrosity of this one. It is rather rigid on its political opinions. Mirta retouve the love thanks to max (a friend of Damien, father of Rudy) and leaves with him to Africa for three months to fine humanitarians. It then returned to manage its hotel. After a serious addiction with the play (in particular with the casino on line), it currently set out again in Africa.

• Ambroise Michel: Rudy , grandson of Mirta which raised it, better friend of Lucas and ex-small friendly of Ninon and Johanna (who was pregnant of him), it is in medical college and left to Congo to join his/her father to learn some from advantage on medicine. A return in September to the Mistral, the fact of reflecting on its relation with Ninon. They recovered together and decided to take a joint apartment but before signing it, it fell in love with Aude, distorts girl of Dr. Livia and nurse of the Castelli General. Unfortunately, Aude is imprisoned for the murder of the lieutenant Bouraoui (the doubt plane on its culpability). She is found hung in her cell. Since October 2006, it follows a training course in the service of famous professor Cantorel. It meets there Estelle, with whom it spins the perfect love… But the life of the young girl is difficult: she underwent on January 1st, 2007 a clerk's office of the liver. Rudy is there to support it. It decided to go back to the sport and chose boxing.

• Anne Decis: Luna , actress and accountant in the workshop of Charlotte, girl rebels of Mirta, mother of Rudy, former drug addict. She returned on the right way while falling in love with Guillaume Lesermann. She lives with him and Nathan. Recently cured of a brain tumor, it was also promised in marriage of Lucas. It also gave courses of coaching. It leaves to join Guillaume in October 2007 in Laos, after being returned account which it could not separate from him.

Boarders of the “Select”:

• Colette Renard: Rachel , “senior” of the district. Widow of Albert and clock making reprocessed. Around Vincent

• Serge Dupire: Vincent Chaumette , divorced, Parisian architect in charge of the restoration of the district. He lives with Charlotte. Charlotte left Vincent, because he refuses to make him a child. He puts himself then with Céline, with whom he already lived in the past. It Marie with her. Only, it cross together a difficult phase following the " meurtre" of Louis Barrel, brother of Nicolas Barrel, since Vincent denounced with the police force his Céline wife and the latter does not want even to more to then address the word him. But Vincent was marked has his turn because of the traces of blood found on his clothing that Charles Frémont carefully dissimulated at Vincent. This one will be released soon from prison owing to the fact that Yves Barrel was stopped by the police force for the murder of Louis Barrel and Nicolas Barrel. Celine being in marked prison of the murder of Aurélie and Frémont being interned in a psychiatric hospital, Céline asks Vincent to take over temporarily the duties of the direction of Phénicie so that the company does not fall into the bankruptcy. This accession at an important station will involve, at Vincent, of excesses of megalomania. Vassago encourages it to acquire costumes of haute couture, shows of mark, sport scar and it makes him gleam to reach the crested clubs most closed like the club Massalia, while being arranged to find very important building sites of architecture to him. Vassago thus has a bad influence on him, it goes until encouraging it to divert body floors of Phénicie, with height of 300.000 €, to carry out a very advantageous stock exchange placement. • Corinne the Foal: Solange Chaumette , the mother of Vincent (appeared in June 2005). Set out again to live in Paris, after a relation with Roland. Divorced Francis.

• Helene Médigue: Charlotte Bihac , boyfriend of Vincent during the season 2005-2006. It has a workshop of dressmaker on the place of the Mistral (it works there with her best friend, Luna). A person is committed to break the Malik-Melanie couple and the other to send Maxime (the son of Agathe) in prison to be avenged for Leo. Its only goal will be to be avenged for Melanie and Léo Castelli, who did not believe it during his imprisonment. They humiliated it, badly judged and trailed in mud.

Frémont

• Rebecca Hampton : Celine Frémont , in the past employed with the town hall of Marseilles and charged with the district of the Mistral, directs Phénicie , the real estate company rested by his/her mother. She very quickly meets Vincent with whom she has a connection and awaits a child of him. But because of Ninon, the girl of Vincent, it will make a miscarriage. In June 2006, she inherits a great property following the death of her mother. This house was in the middle of all covetousnesses, in particular of the Mercoeur couple. To note that Céline Frémont has psychiatric antecedents, feeling responsible for died for his/her twin brother Julien, at the four years age. Unfortunately, vis-a-vis this tempting woman with the determined character, Vincent feels as subjected. She Marie with Vincent and had an adventure in love with Louis Barrel whom she believes to have killed during an argument which has turned out badly. She is in prison because much of points leave think that she killed Aurélie Jacquet, the trainee and conquest of Vincent. Bleached, it starts a relation with Geoffroy Montoirie, Parisian young man of businesses, without knowing that its in love is a go-getter ready to use all the means to make a success of its professional life.

• Alexandre Fabre: Charles Frémont is a lawyer having exerted without diploma. Father of Celine and Juliette, his ambition often places it in extreme cases of legality. He is in the middle of the principal legal affairs of the city: Complicity in a flight of work of art, battles for the house of his/her daughter. It made several stays in prison. It obtained a withdrawal of case following the arranged disappearance of compromising files. It had an adventure with Karine Mercoeur, but she did not like it. Since it always soaks in its small chicaneries.

• Florence Brunet, then Laure Sirieix in June 2005: Astrid Frémont , wife of Charles. After being évincée of the family empire, it left to live in the Antilles. His/her father, Jules Tailleroche, were a collaborator who sent to died the family of Rachel during the war. Astrid gives to the latter a table. She dies in the Antilles in an car accident and bequeaths her hotel to Juliette and her house " Bleuets" in Céline.

• Juliette Oak: Juliette Frémont , sister of Celine, aunt by marriage and friend of Ninon. Leaves during nearly one year with Lucas. She dropped the college right before passing the vat in June 2005, by challenge with her family. At the beginning of the summer 2006, it is fascinated by Gabriel Mercoeur, an anthropologist. She becomes about it the mistress and it justifies it to pass its vat which she obtains nevertheless in September 2006, while presenting itself as a free candidate. Unfortunately for it, Gabriel proves to be a man than doubtful more. It is reversed in the car by his wife. Juliette finds thereafter one of these old loves: Jean-Baptiste. In April 2007 it spent the night with Andréas (the ex buddy of one of his girlfriends " Laura") now it does not know which to choose Jean-Baptiste or Andréas. But from now on its choice is made: Andréas moves in the place of Jean Baptiste, which causes the indignation of the friends of Juliette, sad for him. After the departure of Andréas, it is destroyed.

• Valentine Carrette: First Christelle Bihac . Niece of Charlotte. She discovered that his/her father and she had left together and thinks that all the men are obsessed. She is homosexual.
• Phil Ganachia , better friend of Malik which was paid by Aïcha for his papers and killed.
• Robert , one of the lovers of Mirta, met at the time of the slow fox trot-dating.
• Lucette , one of the women who danced with Roland at the time of the slow fox trot-dating.
• Fayçal Safi : Driss Kenitra , boyfriend of Ninon forced by the men of Frémont.
• John Waldron , former collaborator of Frémont which tried to violate Luna. Frémont forced it.
• Martine Malot : Police chief in charge of the investigation into the murder of Lenoir Iris, the mother of Thomas. Léo required its opinion of him. She thought that the meurtière of Iris was Carole.
• Valerie Labro: Julie Paillron , fair woman who was made kill by Livia to make wear the hat in Léo. It was also a former mistress of Frémont.
• Daniel Lobé: Pierre Anglade . Pierre was named with the head of Phénicie SA. Within the framework of a project it engages François (who was with unemployment) as real project manager. Honest and right man who does not suffer from no chicanery, knew that its employer, Charles Frémont, did not have the same values. It have the love at first sight with White. They lived a true passion. White refused to follow it to Lyon because it did not want to remake its life.

He resumed his studies to be registered in ENA.Il is finally become again cop to make accuse the attackers of Thomas and stop Livia. He dies on March 2nd, 2007 killed by his father because he knew his secrecy.
• Julien Duval: William Charvet , young pianist of jazz, blind having found the sight. He was the boyfriend of Ninon.
• Philippe Granarolo: doctor Bruno Livia , doctor of Astrid Frémont, corbel which terrorized the Mistral during months, it ended up jumping of cliffs but one forever found his body… But, it reappears secretly in October 2006 to terrorize inhabitants of the district and to seize the fortune of the Castelli general. It made believe that it had a “girl”, so that she seizes the fortune of the general. It is called Aude (boyfriend of Rudy), and was imprisoned and found hung in its cell.
• Marius Bruna: police chief Jean-François Beaumont , ripoux which magouillait with Charles Frémont and Charles-Henri Picmal. Today Beaumont is in prison.
• Richard Guedj: Charles-Henri Picmal , former superior of Celine, candidate to the cantonal elections. He was the companion of Mirta before being made grip for a sordid business of traffic of tables intermingled with murder. He is today in prison to have made kill Sylvie Carlier and Ann Bocara.

It is victim of blackmail by Samuel who tries to tap money to him, in particular the money of his aunt Rachel. It then is sent in prison, shown murder of his friend Kamel. Thanks to Luna it is cleared and leaves prison. The climate despite everything is still tended with Luna, they then prefer to make a station-wagon. It left on mission humane to Laos. On its return, he is explained clearly with Luna and their couple seems (!) set out again on good bases…
• Thibault Vaneck: Nathan , the son of Guillaume and cousin of Estelle Cantorel, turbulent, failed to kill his/her first true boyfriend at the time of an escapade in forest. Since it leaves with Nirina. After being misled by the twin sister of its mother (removed with her birth by professor Cantorel), it found her true mother, of return after 8 years spent to the Nepal but which finally will live in Bordeaux.
• Idrissa Hanrot : Arthur , high-school pupil enthusiast of Melanie. To allure it, he lies on his age. Melanie broke by discovering the truth.
• Valerie Leboutte: Eva Cabestany , related to the searchs for Guillaume to find a remedy which should look after it. Will handle Vincent Chaumette then will die while trying to open the trunk containing the remedy.
• Geraldine Lapalus: the secretary of Livia.

During the season 2004-2005, the serial approached several topics of company: drug taking at the teenagers, the crisis of the couple with White and François Marci, the Homosexuality with the characters of Thomas and Nicolas leading to that of the Homoparentalité, or pregnancy of minor.
