Moravian brothers
The origin of the Moravian brothers.
Following the Excommunication (1412) and judgment with roughing-hew (1415) of Jean Huss, a movement occurs which asserts the freedom to preach and which is opposed to the richness Clergé. At the time of the Reform, this movement (the Union of the Brothers) adopts the Protestantisme. The Count von Zinzendorf (1700 - 1760) accommodates this Church, persecuted in Moravie; it settles in Saxony in 1722. Later, from the congregation S of this Church will settle with the the United States.
This church developed its own doctrines, wanting to find the fraternity of the first Christians. They elect their clergy and reject the official Hiérarchie, translate the Bible into vulgar language. In this movement, one preaches the importance of education and one denounces religious intolerance. school S secondaries and higher of good level are created in all the Europe (in particular with Neuwied, in Germany).
