Monitoring of the quality of the air

The monitoring of the quality of the air relates to primarily that of the Ambient air, i.e. of the air which the public breathes, located close to the ground.

This one revĂȘt an particular importance because, in any place, it is " public air " , breathed by the whole of the population, i.e. including by the sensitive people: allergic young children, elderly, people, people having problems respiratory, ocular, cardiac and different, etc.

In the modern states, this monitoring is organized by qualified organizations, and the results are transmitted to the public authorities.

In the majority of the states of the European Community, this monitoring is carried out by dedicated services of the organizations of states (Department of the Environment or equivalent)

In France, this one is entrusted to the Associations approved of the monitoring of the quality of the air (AASQA)
