Monaghan United F.C. is a club of Football Irish founded in 1979 and indicated for played the Championnat of Ireland of football starting from 1985.

The club plays its matches in the small stage of Kingspan Century Park which counts 3.000 places including 500 only sitted. Its colors are blue and the white.

Monaghan played its first matche of championship in 1985 against Derry. Today the stage bears the name of their sponsor, the building firm Century Homes .

Monaghan especially knew the second division ( First Division ) assembling in the First Division only very seldom and in a very temporary way: the first two seasons in the elite between 1993 and 1995 then one season in 2001-2002.
