Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

is a Japanese company of mechanical engineering which belongs to the conglomerate Mitsubishi. It belongs to TOPIX 100.

History

• 1950, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in three distinct entities: West Japan Heavy-Industries, Ltd., Central Japan Heavy-Industries, Ltd. and East Japan Heavy-Industries, Ltd.
• 1964, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. reappears.
• 1970, the automobile division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries becomes Mitsubishi Motors.
