Mine Train (Six Flags Over Texas)
Mine Train is a Russian Montagne in Métal located in the park Six Flags Over Texas at Arlington at the Texas. It is the Archétype of the Russian mountains of type Train of the mine. Attraction opened in 1966.
The Russian mountain is proclaimed as being the first to use tubular Rails, designed by Arrow Dynamics. This fact revolutionized the design of the Russian metal mountains. However the title returns to the Matterhorn Bobsleds of Disneyland (1959). Attraction was named Run-A-Way Mine Train of 1966 with 1995.
Attraction with the characteristic to propose three hills to climb and two tunnels. The Summum of the course is the final fall after the third rise which is finished by a tunnel passing under the lake of the park, Caddo Lake . The vehicles are old models and the operators must open them with the hand.
