Milford (Connecticut)
Milford is a city of the Comté of New Haven in the Connecticut, with the the United States of America. Its population was of 50.594 people to the census of 2000.
History
The territory which contains the current cities of Milford, Orange and West Haven, whose name of origin was Wepawaug , were acquired by the colonists of New Haven the 1639 at Ansantawae, chief of the tribe of the Paugusset, people algonquien.
